I suppose, in many cities around the world, people are repairing and performing maintenance on their boats to ready them for dry dock until next spring.
How do YOU store YOUR boat? Where? Do you plan to re-seal and/or re-paint it? Are there any loose or worn parts that need replacing? Do you leave fuel in the motor all winter, or do you drain it?

A friend of mine, a nurse, lived in the Tahoe area many years ago, where her husband worked for the U.S. Forest Service. They had a car and a truck of course, but when the snow really fell, and there were six or eight feet or more everywhere, the Snow Mobile was their sole means of transportation. Long story short, it was mid winter, January, and she was pregnant with their first child, and due in a few weeks. Her date came, her water broke, and her husband rushed her to the nearest hospital ten miles away on their Snow Mobile. She had an easy delivery, so easy in fact and with no complications, that she was discharged less than thirty six hours later. Yes, you guessed it! Her husband drove in on the Snow Mobile, picked her and the baby up, and together, the three of them, braved the ten mile trip back home--Mom, Dad and baby boy--his first trip on a Snow Mobile, home from the hospital in the snow!
